I typically don’t submit reviews when I find a “hidden treasure”, but this Hotel deserves a beyond 10+ submission.
I spend 90% of my time in Los Angeles, and am very familiar with Hotels. Until Saturday Night when I made a booking “The Onyx” location, description, and price was worth a try.
The Property, Staff, Rooms, and Price are all absolutely fantastic. Whether you’re a local or coming to Hollywood as a tourist; I would without hesitation recommend this Property as the Place to Stay.

Breakfast was very basic. Only bread and prepackaged danishes, apple and orange juice. Parking is at the side of the building, cannot see car from room.

While the outside of the building was old and dated and the breakfast was just toast, coffee, sugar and powdered milk. I do have to say that the room was clean, comfortable and our particular room was huge.

Breakfast was toast or a pastry in a bag. There was coddle or orange juice so do not be fooled by the pictures. There was not a single plug in at the dining area for my laptop. Drink vending machine didnt work. Access to the railway is only 2 blocks away, Thai food is everywhere, and there is a target across the street. I would stay again at this no frills cheap hotel

En dessous de la moyenne Staff was absolutely rude and unfriendly. The room was huge and spacious and that was the only thing okay. The hotel doesn't has any other faciltites.
