Our stay ended on a good note, but there were several issues.
-Room service menu published online is outdated; half of the food was inedible. The chicken breast was old and the grossest I’ve had in my life. My husband said it was from an “aged hen” like Soviet times.
-TV’s were very old and the only way to play music. It didn’t work in 2 of the 3 rooms. No PPV options or movies.
- The bathtub in the first room was broken and the worn hardwood needed a rug.
- The hotel didn’t have a diffuser for the hairdryer (the less expensive Hyatt had one upon request). It took 24 hours for them to tell they didn’t have one. At a 5 star hotel, I would expect someone to get it. I would have been fine being charged for it. Every morning to went to the Dyson store to dry my hair.
- Room #2 the AC was broken.
-Room #3 was a beautiful suite. The drapes were broken but it was fine.
-the showers were great and the bidets were lovely.
- House keeping didn’t refill the soaps without being asked.
- The beds were manageable but not comfortable.
- All the rooms were large.
- The gym is a joke with a bench press, stationary bike, and ropes.
-Unless you’re booking a suite, I would recommend staying at a different hotel.
