Super The property was beautiful and friendly staff also quickly respond to my request. The only issue I entered my room for the first time and was out of there in 20 minutes there was a foul smell, they sent up a maintenance and he immediately smelled it to. They moved me to another but accessible room and it didn’t have a double lock on the door. So I asked to move to another room. I got to my third room and there was an issue with their shade door, maintenance came up to fixed it but took home 30 minutes to fix so he did his best and the next day they came to fixed it properly. Also door to balcony was not easy to lock. Overall some of their rooms needs to upgrade or maintain their balcony doors and shade. The rooms were clean. The a/c is very loud. I didn’t like that luau was behind my balcony you get a first glance of the show and hearing the sound is not a great experience. They need to keep the pool warm.

Staff not very welcoming made ride comment. Room not as expected. Paid for ocean view and got partial ocean view and ended up changing rooms three times. Expensive prices for average food.

Be aware of resort fees and and parking fees that add up a lot at the end of the trip, wasn’t aware of them when booking

For what I paid for the room I expected more. Also, didn't know about the additional $47 a night charge. Other than the pool didn't not sure what I paid for.

Great resort. Shower a little dated but overall great stay, great location. Walkable to stores and 5 min to Safeway and Starbucks. Pool area is the best and pool restaurant is really good.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel, and it did not disappoint! Our room was very clean and modern with vaulted ceilings. The ocean view was well worth it!
Love the access to the beach and walking path, although be aware the beach at this property is NOT swimmable. But it’s a great spot to watch the sunrise and see an occasional seal.
Location is a short drive from shops and restaurants in Kapa’a town, and walking distance to Coconut Marketplace which has casual dining options.
This is a perfect spot to be situated for access to all parts of the island, and a short drive to/from airport.

My family and I are in Hawaii to celebrate my son‘s graduation from Ucla. We traveled from Philadelphia, which is nearly 10 hours in the air. When we arrived at the resort, there was no Mai Thai waiting for us as advertised on the companies website. When accessing our room we had to force the door open as apparently the hinge screws had come out of the frame. Finally, when we came down to the pool and beach area the next morning, all the chairs had been covered in towels yet there was no one in the area. This was the case all three days we were here.
Along with the outrageous nightly rates, we are being charged “resort fees“. We were here for three nights and had to go off property to enjoy Kauai because there were not enough spaces for us to enjoy the “amenities”. I later learned that people can buy “resort passes” to enjoy the amenities for the day without having to stay at the hotel. Not sure how they square that with the people who pay so much money to stay at the resort.
I may come back to Kawai but I will not be staying at this property or at a Sheraton anytime in the near future. This experience was awful. In my first attempt to address the issues, the manager looked at me like I had three heads. This morning, as we were checking out, a wonderful employee named Virgie offered partial resort fee refunds, which I can only assume is all she is permitted to do.
Two rooms for three nights cost $4000. Enjoy it Sheraton. It’s the last money you’ll ever get from me.
