The best place we have stayed in for value for money.
Character heritage building with palatial wide hallways and 5 m stud heights in rooms.
Beautifull old school large windows , warm well heated rooms and block out curtains, zero road noise and comfy king beds.
There is a 25 m lap pool with clean salt water( not chlorine) a sauna with actual wood heating and a well equipped gym.
The most helpfull staff,
We didn’t want to leave!
Totally recommended best venue in chch.

Booked for 4 adults and 2 children and there were only 2 queen beds.
No pull out couch or anywhere for the kids to sleep.
Arrived at midnight and had to sleep 1 on couch and 1 in bed with us. Wasn’t ideal

Fantastique This is a wonderful and interesting old building. It is just a little dated, but it has excellent amenity's and the location and parking are very good. It could do with a car charger.

Loved our stay here, perfect for my family and centrally located that made it extra special. Unfortunately, locating the hotel entrance was a big problem but we eventually found it.

The front desk staff very welcoming and helpful. Smooth check-in and handled minor issues gracefully. Highly recommend, if looks deceive, this is it. Pleasant surprise and well maintained, exceeded expectations.
