Our family stayed here for three days, and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had.
This beautifully maintained historic hotel is in the perfect downtown Portland location—just a block from the train and within walking distance of excellent restaurants and attractions.
Thank you for giving us adjoining suites, it made our stay especially enjoyable for our grandson. The suites were spotless, beautifully furnished, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We also loved the outstanding made-to-order breakfast, evening cocktails and appetizers, and the sparkling clean pool.
What truly made this stay exceptional was the staff. Every employee we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests feel welcome.
A special thank you to our valet, who stored our luggage while we visited the Portland Art Museum, recommended a wonderful lunch spot, and then delighted our grandson with a green balloon dog and a few magic tricks before we left. That simple act of kindness created a memory our family will always treasure.
