The hotel was very informative and gave very clear instructions as to how to get from the Rome airport to their hotel. There is a reasonable fee for their shuttle which arrived in 15 minutes from the time I called and the driver/owner kept up a friendly and informative conversation all the way. The hotel has been recently renovated with an elevator and the rooms have a comfortable bed, small fridge, safe, telephone and modern bathroom. They have a small bar and offer a delicious buffet breakfast. It is in a small town between Rome and Civitavecchia, close to a train station that is about 5 stops from the port or they can give you a ride to Civitavecchia. The immediate area has a grocery store, 2 Italian restaurants, a Chinese bar and restaurant and a McDonalds. If you are tired of the hassle of getting from a Rome hotel to the port for your cruise I would highly recommend it.
