We had a wonderful stay at the Willard. The hotel’s historic elegance, unbeatable location, and exceptional service made our trip especially memorable.
We booked a Junior 2 Queen Bed Suite, which worked perfectly for our family. The separate sitting area with a pull-out couch gave our kids their own space to sleep. This made the room feel much larger and more comfortable than a standard hotel room.
Our front-facing room also had a great partial view of the Washington Monument, which was a special bonus. The hotel also went above and beyond for my birthday by surprising us with delicious mini cupcakes and sparkling water, which was a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated!
The staff was outstanding, particularly Luciana at the front desk. We arrived before our room was ready at 3:00 PM, and she provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and ways to spend our time nearby. Her friendly and helpful attitude set the tone for a great stay.
Families should know about the children’s program, which includes a mini library where kids can earn “Duck Bucks” and redeem them for treats at the cafe. Our children loved it and it added a fun, unique element to the stay.
One tip for future guests: the minibar uses a weighted sensor system. If you pick up an item, even just to look at it, you may be charged.
