I run into bed bugs or thicks. I had 2 of them in my body. Very uncomfortable , gross and unexpected for a Hotel of that nature. Of course they allow dogs stay also which I was not aware Staff collected one. Medical attention and laundry was offered. ALL my clothes had to be washed and steam clean. Upon my return to the USA I saw my own doctor and had a clpe exams done. They gave me a different room, they promise a full refund of my stay if I decided to stay. Thought about a different Hotel but we were at a wedding and part of my family was staying there as well. When I checked out no refund was offered as promised 2 days earlier. Excuses such as I decided to stay , and a free night. At night my sleep was distress of the thoughts of it, and fear of seeing or encountering more, Will never go back there again .

Good hotel in Punta Carretas, close to everything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is a bit older and worn, (the sink in room 508 was cracked and patched). Also there were almost no available sockets for charging our devices. The spa was great, offering at and dry sauna, whirlpool and massages. The breakfast buffet is OK, some bread options, scrambled eggs, potatoes with onions, cereals, fruit, artificial orange juice, apple juice, coffee was not great though. All in all, it is good enough to explore Montevideo easily.

Hotel 100% recomendable, estuve hospedado durante una semana y fueron unos dias espectaculares, excelente ubicacion, el personal muy amable y servicial, habitaciones, pasillos, elevadores y lobby impecable. Ya estoy planificando volver... Disfruté al máximo cada dia. Gracias

Room was trash and I was charged on hotels.com and in person and took weeks to get refunded with absolutely no help from Dazzler staff. Temperature control in shower was broken and only scalding hot water would come out of the shower. Cool water would come out of the bath but not the shower, was really weird. Also there were no fitted sheets on the beds so the sheets kept sliding all over the place and I was basically sleeping on the bare mattress. I paid a reservation on hotels.com and was also charged in person for the same booking in person for what I thought was just a deposit. I contacted the hotel on all means possible after checkout and seeing that the 2nd charge was permanent and I received no response at all. I was able to get the hotels.com reservation refunded but the staff at Dazzler were totally unhelpful. Would not stay there again nor would I recommend this to anyone.

Hermoso hotel. Súper bien ubicado y los empleados muy atentos y simpáticos. No se pierdan el restaurante!

I have never reviewed any hotel....but had to share some pictures and thoughts on this one. From the outside, the property looks nice. From the inside, this is nowhere near a four star hotel. There were cracks in the tiles in the bathroom and the sink. There were obvious paint stains left on the mirror in the bathroom. There were no outlets near the bed to charge devices. Save your money and stay at the Ibis across the street. At most, this hotel should be a three star and I'd even question that.

Everything was perfect! We love the place

For the first night booking I mentioned the mattress had no cover/protector. For the second night I got a a different room. It didn’t have it either. Maybe, that’s standard. But it’s the first time I get a bare mattress. Another thing about the second night is that the bathroom smelled of urine.

I was surprised to see the mattress didn’t have a protector. It only had the flat sheet on it. Maybe that’s how the beds are made at this hotel.
