The hotel was fine and met our requirements. There was extensive decorating taking place on our floor which wasn’t an issue though perhaps we could have been notified in advance. No big deal though.

It has no air conditioning, so staying in July was very hot. The room had no air circulation, so it was very hot. Hotter in the room than outside or even the hall.

We had a very good stay at this property. The breakfast was great and cooked to order and the staff were helpful. I would definitely stay there again

Great overnight stay, room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly, great location, walking distance into the city and great there is on site parking. Delicious breakfast too!

The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. Reception staff were helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Good parking was provided.

Yes, it was a heat wave when I stayed there, but the room was like an oven. Only a small opening for the window with the Sun beating on it all day! They should have kept the curtains closed, by the time I checked in at 4 pm the room was unbearable with only a small fan moving the hot air around the room. I was unable to sleep. Also, the TV didn’t work just pixelating I don’t know if it was the fan interfering with it.. also the Internet is not secure - definitely not a four-star Hotel. Saying that with staff were lovely and it was a great breakfast

The absence of air conditioning and the fact that bedroom windows only had one small top window that could be opened meant that we experienced an extremely hot and uncomfortable night. This hotel property appears to be undergoing some refurbishment but unless it is going to install air conditioning, during hot weather it will not make the best of its superb position close to the centre of town

We loved this hotel. Great location away from the busy city centre but still had restaurants nearby. We stayed in Oxford for the British Grand Prix weekend and did not have a lot of time to explore Oxford but really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Staff were wonderful and so friendly. I wish I had gotten the name of the sweet front desk lady because she always remembered mine and cheerfully greeted me whenever we returned from our busy day out. I have to give Josh a shout out who very early one morning provided me with a tray of coffee to take to my room since my fiancé and I decided to skip breakfast to get an early start to Silverstone. Very kind of him and he even offered to carry it upstairs to our room, although I declined as I didn’t want to put him out too much. Our room was the Trinity deluxe room. It was huge! I loved being able to open the windows for a cool breeze. Even with the windows open there was very little street noise. The amenities were wonderful. I always love having a robe and slippers provided. There was a small fridge in the room and an oscillating fan which was definitely needed since our stay was during a particularly warm summer weekend. The breakfast buffet seemed a little overpriced so for our last three mornings we went across Banbury Rd to a delicious little bakery called Barefoot for the best fresh cinnamon rolls and coffees. For lunch/dinner, The Rose and Crown pub on the same alleyway. We had Sunday roast at the lodge and loved it! 5 stars! :)
