The hotel has a serious problem with housekeeping and cleaning, disconnected employees.
The first day we were given a great room because ours for some reason was not ready, and while it had a great view, there was no running water in the sink and we were given a twin bed but we were 4, not 3. One of us managed to sleep in a sofa, but since some blinds would not go down and the sofa was not really comfortable, we barely slept. Some curtains were ripped off and mostly all are dirty.
The next day we were given our regular room and while our linens were clean, the floor was very dirty and they left all the litter in the bathroom trash can. I asked them to please clean it the next day, but they didn’t. Wood floor in this room is severely scratched and poorly maintained.
The last day they didn’t broom or mopped the floor except for the bathroom. It is in a great and fun location though.
We don’t mind the noise from the bars outside.
As someone that manages properties, a clean room, and employees with attention to detail makes the difference. Please train management and housekeepers on industry standards. The hotel is in a great location and it’s a great facility, but you need to do this right.
