We absolutely adore this Japanese homestay nestled atop Jiufen. The room is immaculate and spotless, and the hostess serves delectable breakfasts every morning. On clear days, the view from the dining room is breathtakingly spectacular, allowing you to see the entire Jiufen town stretching all the way to the ocean. It’s a beautiful and awe-inspiring sight!

Excellent overnight stay. Neat Japanese-style room, good WiFi, great little bathtub and shower. The Japanese breakfast included in room rate was superb.
The location on the edge of Jioufen might be a problem if you find yourself carrying luggage up the steps from the bus stop, otherwise it’s nice and quiet. But it was tricky to find. We didn’t anticipate any problems as we weren’t given any specific instructions. Definitely something that could be improved upon.

En dessous de la moyenne

The inn is in a very quiet neighborhood that's easily accessible to the Jiufen old street by foot. It is a bit tricky to find where it is, but they make sure to meet you outside and walk you to the inn. Extremely helpful staff!
We reserved two different rooms and stayed for one night. One of the rooms had two sets of futon, which were very comfortable. The other room had a large bed, but the mattress was on a harder side. If you are used to a soft mattress, you may have a hard time sleeping in the bed. Besides the hard mattress, everything was perfect!

Loved our stay! The property was located very high up in Jiufen, gave us beautiful views of the area. The entire property was Japanese inspired, beautifully decorated and clean. The owners were super nice, prepared all the guests’ breakfasts in bento boxes, which were pleasing to the eyes as well as tasty. I highly recommend this property!
