Small amenities for tall people, poor service in english, it’s ok for tradditional stay… we love the coffee shop outside in the parking lot… Not manager assistance during issues

Really enjoyed our stay here. We traveled with little ones, and they were very accommodating and helpful. It is far from the main tourist area, but it was nice to be able to have a nice balance of busy and peaceful.

Our stay was magical! This was our first experience with a ryokan and also our first night in Kyoto. The staff were very nice & helpful. The shared living space was quiet and clean. The gardens were gorgeous and the food was good. The japanese breakfast was delicious!!!

Breakfast my my favorite. Traditional Japanese style every day. I miss it now that I'm home. Rooms were very clean and new towel and toiletries were provided every day. The staff was excellent. Friendly and attentive. The option to to laundry helped a lot.

Fantastique We enjoyed our one night in this Ryokan. It was fun and authentic. There was a certian peace and relaxed mode that it put us on. We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens). The room #24 was spacious, clean, and well kept. Yes, we wore the provided pajamas/yukata. The shower had great pressure and was also spacious. Friendly staff and food at the restaurant was yummy. The gardens were beautiful traditional Japanese gardens. As always, loved the toilet/bidet. Loved this spot!

Fantastique The room was clean with a beautiful view of a natural environment. All the staff at the Ryokan were kind and helpful. The breakfast we ate was delicious. I would recommend staying here if you’re in Kyoto!
