Great amenities, beds are at ground level so watch out if you have bad knees. The parking is hidden right next to corner signal, it's a little hard to find at first, but other than that everything was pretty straightforward as far as no staff for the check in. There's also a great pizza place down the street, right in the arts district

Kodo Hotel is a sanctuary in DTLA - while it's near some of the city's most exciting restaurants, galleries, and stores, it feels like a world away from it all. Kodo is currently a self check-in hotel, so guests looking who need an extra level of staff support should look elsewhere. Rather than a traditional hotel, Kodo feels like walking into a beautifully maintained home, straight out of Architectural Digest. The lobby spaces, with ample seating, are an elegant and quiet space to recharge. The rooms - with natural wood, exposed beams, and cool stone - are elegant without being fussy, and exceptionally comfortable, as if staying in an onsen or a retreat. Highly recommended on all fronts.

En dessous de la moyenne It’s in a very unsafe area there was literally someone infront of the hotel doing drugs please know the inside is nice but it’s not worth being in an unsafe environment.

En dessous de la moyenne The hotel never answered my calls or texts for almost two hours to give me my building and room access, even though they advertise 24/7 guest services. I was left stranded at midnight in the street and had to ultimately book another hotel. Terrible.

BienSéjour en couple
We reached out to the hotel staff for two of the main overhead lights that weren’t working.
We were promised that staff would come up and look into the lights, but we never got another update.
The room is unique and comfortable, however the supporting staff did not fulfill their promises.
