Location is great! Staff were helpful and friendly. The size of our room was small but still ok Overall size of rooms in every hotel you will stay in Japan are going to be small.

Séjour en solo

I stayed at Hotel Petit Bali Higashishinjuku from May 24–28, and it was truly a hidden gem in Tokyo. If you’re looking for a relaxing, private, and comfortable stay, this is definitely a place to consider. What stood out most was how thoughtfully the experience is designed for adults who value comfort over flashy, unnecessary amenities. Instead of over-the-top extras, they offer things that actually enhance your stay: a complimentary 24-hour bar, free soda, coffee, and even mini desserts and snacks. It created a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere that made it simple to unwind at any time. The room itself was clean, cozy, and very private, perfect after long days or late nights exploring the city. The overall vibe feels more like a quiet retreat than a traditional busy hotel, which I really appreciated in a place like Shinjuku. If you’re someone who prefers a laid-back, well-curated experience with practical perks rather than large, crowded hotels, this will be a great fit. I genuinely enjoyed my entire stay and will absolutely return the next time I’m in Tokyo. Highly recommend.

Nice Bali themed hotel though space inside the room is a bit tight and not really able to open a suitcase without moving furniture or doing it in the hallway. Lots of free amenities which is excellent but the food options are quite basic and not always available. There wasn’t a space to sit or eat so we took stuff back to our rooms. Very close to Higashi Shinjuku station so it’s quite convenient. Be aware it’s a love hotel format and in kabukicho but there appeared to be many tourists using the place like a hotel. The rooms have a physical key which needs to be left at the front desk. Room cleaning costs 2000 yen if you request it except if you stay 3 days or more. But you can request towels and bin changes.

Very kind stay and in a really great location for our purpose of touring the city! The only thing I didn’t realize was how small the room would be - granted, I booked a business double, and I should have expected it to be smaller, but it felt quite tight, and with all the amenities they provide, there was little space for my own items. Aside from that, the hotel staff and amenities were amazing!! We slept well, the bathroom was clean, it was a great experience. I was not expecting there to be no shower door, so that was a little difficult as we needed extra towels to dry after, but it is okay!

Bien
The room seemed about average for Tokyo. The shower and bathtub room has some mould. The jetted tub is pretty gross to be honest and knowing it’s not easy to clean properly made me apprehensive. I was recommended to stay here for the convenience and being close to the metro. Better research would’ve served me well. The breakfast is nothing special, it included make your own nigiri -that was subpar when the machine was working. Some cereal and soup was available. Mini croissants and milk bread was available, along with all you can drink and mini desserts. What I’m trying to say is the food isn’t healthy at any point in the day. I was disappointed the recreation/lounge space seen online was I think the only saving grace was all the free toiletries. I enjoyed the options.

Hotel is nice but very small. Staff were very nice and they help you transfer the luggage to your next destination hotel. They really spent lot of time to address the issue we had with our transfer. Breakfast is not good, We are vegetarians and they didn't even have single vegetarian options like fruits, bread, yogurt or eggs nothing, we bought fruits from outside and ate. Hotels.com messed up and gave us smoking room even though I booked non smoking room. Hotel staff helped us with fresheners etc but i could smell little bit but what can we do ! rooms are clean and overall good stay.

Great location. 5 minute walk to central Shinjuku. 2 minute walk to closest 7/11. Coin-laundry right outside the hotel. Amenities were excellent - all the skin care products you could hope for - and they let you take some home with you. Free wide range of self-serve drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and cakes was a great surprise - help yourself whenever you want. Breakfast was decent. Simple, but sufficient. Making your own sushi balls was cool. Room was on the smaller side, but that's expected around Japan. Was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of modern luxuries. Fridge, microwave, kettle, TV with included Chromecast to cast movies from your phone, TV in the toilet, plenty of soaps and lotions.
