The person at the reception desk was very welcoming, friendly, and professional. This is important when you first enter a hotel.
The twin bedroom was clean, and all essentials were there, i.e., a tea maker and a hairdryer. The toilet was clean, and the shower wasn't bad and did the job. The beds were comfortable, and the street itself was not noisy. The price wasn't too bad for central London, and it was about eight minutes away from the tube station. It was near a pub and not far from the shops.
The only downside was that the stairs were steep and the corridor looked a bit worn and needing a freshen-up. The hotel didnt smell.
Overall, my stay there was very welcoming, and I would stay there again.

Cheap and cheerful. Hotel is in a strip of row homes each a different hotel. Room we booked had 3 beds (queen and 2 singles). Lots of room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very close to Victoria station and Buckingham Palace.
