Great location and wonderful stay but a bit noisy at night so bring your ear plugs. Room was very clean except some hair on the shower wall. Comfy bed and loved the coffee machine and streaming on TV. Close to cafe, bar and restaurant and an easy 30min bus ride into the city.

Check in is smooth and room is stunning.
There lacks of communication during check out. The staff at the reception deduct the room fees again when it is already paid upfront using the Hotels.com app. And she did not mention it or a receipt is provided.

This is a relatively new, beautifully furnished hotel in a central location on the Swan River next to the University of Western Australia (UWA). Our room faced the river, had a nice balcony, well-designed space, plenty of storage, and a nice large bathroom. The open-air hallways in our wing provided plenty of fresh air. Breakfast options were numerous and tasty, though the dining area seemed understaffed over the long Easter weekend. Free access to the UWA gym across the street was a welcome bonus.

Wonil Hotel Perth – Handwritten Collection
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Wonil Hotel is operating on a completely different level.
The rooms are absolutely stunning — beautifully designed, spotless, and thoughtfully laid out with comfort and style in mind. Everything feels intentional, calm, and premium without being overdone. It’s one of those places where you walk in and immediately relax.
But what truly sets this hotel apart is the customer service. And I need to specifically call out SONI — hands down one of the best hospitality professionals we’ve ever encountered. Warm, attentive, genuinely caring, and incredibly professional. Soni made us feel welcomed, valued, and looked after in a way that you simply don’t experience very often anymore. This wasn’t just “good service,” it was exceptional.
Every interaction felt personal, effortless, and sincere. You can tell the team here truly cares about the guest experience, and it shows in every detail.
If you’re considering staying here — don’t hesitate. This is world-class hospitality, beautiful accommodation, and service that sets a benchmark. We will absolutely be returning and recommending Wonil Hotel Perth to everyone we know.
