Fantastique Our family of four (with young adults 19, 22) spent 14 days in Japan across 4 hotels, and Flower Terrace was the absolute best! We appreciated the cleanliness, incredible responsiveness, and thoughtful details. The quiet location is a peaceful retreat, and the walk to Shinjuku Station helped us discover wonderful local shops and restaurants.
We loved that there were English labels on everything, a Family Mart next door, plenty of lobby umbrellas (rainy season), and a highly efficient "dryer room" for laundry that worked far better than other standard hotel dryers.
The highlight was the manager, Mariko. Early on, she noticed us checking luggage instructions in the check-in area and offered to handwrite our first set of waybills in Japanese—a wonderful personal touch. She completely saved the day on departure morning when a nearby convenience store unexpectedly rejected our paperwork.
We messaged staff via the mobile device, and Mariko replied immediately on a Saturday morning. She asked us to leave the bags in our room and she would handle the transport for us! But moments before we left, Mariko knocked on our door accompanied by the Yamato luggage transport carrier! She had them personally meet us, she filled out the forms again, handled communication, and ensured our bags were safely sent. We've never experienced such elite hospitality and would stay here again without question!

We are a family of 5 (with 2 teens and 1 toddler). We stayed for 4 nights.
Greatly located right next to higashi-shinjuku station. Across from a supermarket and right above a family mart so that was convenient. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It is an apartment style hotel but provided all the daily necessity like a hotel would (Coffee, toothbrush, slippers,soap, etc..) Washing machine was a plus - dryer is incorporated in the shower ventilation system and worked great! Instruction and placement of things were all identified so it made it easy to find things and figuring out how things worked,
The kitchen with pot and pans, plates, and cutlery was provided so this was great. We picked up food from the supermarket ate at the apartment on certain days.
It is located close to a fire station or emergency station so you did hear the sirens quite often at night but with the double doors shut, it was bearable. Ear plugs were provided but we didn't need to use them.
Overall highly recommend and I would definitely return next time I am in Japan!

Absolutely fantastic, top tier place to stay for a balance between confort and price. Right next to the metro line substation entrance, which was incredibly convienent. Clean room, great size, acomdating host/staff. Built in laundry was an added bonus since we stayed for 2 weeks. We are already looking at staying with them again on our return trip! 10/10 highly recommended

The room was very clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. I appreciated the earplugs, since the noise from sirens at night can be a little loud. The curtains were also nice to block the light since the sun comes up around 4:30AM. As a family of 4 with two teenagers, the space was a little tight, but we made it work since we hardly spent any time in the room. The location in Shinjuku is great. It’s really close to the subway station and it’s walkable to a lot of restaurants, stores, etc. My only recommendation would be to put a shower curtain up to help keep the water from showering in the tub rather than on the shower room floor.

The room was very clean and situated so that one can make the most of the space. I stayed there with my husband and two teenagers, and we were fine! The air conditioning was a welcome sensation after being outside, and there is a convenience store directly next to the entrance.
