The hotel is very conveniently located close to taipei main station, with a subway exit less than 50m from the entrance. The staff was very welcoming and the check-in was quick and efficient. The decoration style could be called trumpian in its unnecessary gilding, and feels really dated, but well maintained.
The room was small, but well organized and with excellent soundproofing, and there was space for 3 small carry-on, but I was very happy not to have anything bigger. The matress were extremely hard (way too much for me), and there was also a distinct lack of outlet to charge all the electronics of a 3 person family.
The breakfast was all you can eat, but not great in a city like Taipei, and we regretted taking it as there would have been cheaper option at a walking distance.
All in all a conveniently located hotel, with good service, but it will not be a highlight of my stay.
