Tatler Cocktail Festival 2023

These are the terms (the “Agreement”) that govern your attendance at and/or participation in the Tatler Cocktail Festival (the “Event”) to be held in Hong Kong from 24-26 November 2023 at BaseHall 01 and BaseHall 02 located at LG/F, Jardine House, 1 Connaught Pl, Central (the "Venue") and organized by Tatler Asia (Hong Kong) Limited ("Tatler Asia"). The Event presents guests an opportunity to purchase food and drinks (the “Goods”) provided by the vendors in partnership with Tatler Asia. By registering for the Event you are agreeing to these terms, which form a legal contract between Tatler Asia, and the registered attendee and/or participant (“you”). If you are registering on behalf of another it is your responsibility to ensure that the person attending is aware of these terms and accepts them, and by completing the registration you are warranting that you have made the attendee aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.

1. No cancellations / refund policy. All sales are final and no refunds will be issued.
2. Your registration entitles you to admittance to the Event. Any and all other costs associated with your attendance (including without limitation any travel and/or accommodation expenses) shall be borne solely by you.
3. All tickets cannot be re-sold. Anyone found to be re-selling their tickets will have their tickets cancelled.
4. All tickets are unique to each attendee, and duplicate tickets will be refused.
5. The Event is restricted to persons aged 18 years and above. Tatler Asia reserves the right to verify age and deny admission or refund the ticket price if a person under the age of 18 is found to have purchased a ticket to the Event. All attendees must present a valid ID for verification upon request by Tatler Asia.
6. Tatler Asia may implement crowd control measures based on the number of attendees.
7. To be admitted to the Venue and attend the Event you must have a valid Ticket.
8. Tatler Asia has the right to search the bags and other personal belongings of all persons attending the Event and reserves the right as a result of such search to exclude any person from the Event and Venue or to exclude any person who refuses to be searched.
9. Upon admission to the Venue you will be provided with session-specific wristband. Those who fail to present the session-specific wristband will not be readmitted.
10. Upon admission to the Venue you will be provided with a HK$80 cocktail voucher, which you can use to redeem a beverage valued at HK$80 at the designated cocktail stations. The voucher must be fully utilized in a single transaction and any unconsumed/remaining value of the voucher will be forfeited at the end of the session. The voucher cannot be reused / resold. Anyone found to be re-selling their voucher will have their voucher cancelled.
11. The Goods available for purchase at the Event are available through individual Vendor outlets at the Venue, and the Vendor outlets are responsible for the quality of any such Goods provided.
12. All complaints in relation to the Goods can be sent for handling to the Tatler Asia’s Customer Services at tatlereventshk@tatlerasia.com.
13. You acknowledge and agree that Tatler Asia, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the Event, including but not limited to, the Event name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts moderators, venue and time.
14. Tatler Asia reserves the right to cancel the Event at any stage, if deemed necessary in their sole opinion, or if circumstances arise which are outside their control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions. Guests are advised to check the Tatler Dining Hong Kong’s Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/tatlerdininghk before their visit. If the Event is cancelled or there are any changes to the line up, Tatler Asia will not be liable for the payment of any compensation or any loss of money and/or expenses incurred. In the event of the cancellation of the entire event only the face value of the ticket will be refunded through the ticket agent through whom the tickets were purchased.
15. No outside food, alcohol or soft drinks may be taken into the Venue.
16. Tatler Asia adopts a zero tolerance to drugs. You may be refused entry or removed from the Event and reported to the police if found to be in possession of any such illegal substances.
17. The following articles are prohibited at the Venue and the Event: illegal drugs or substances, musical instruments (including but not limited to drums), knives or similar weapons including chains/chain wallets, fireworks, explosives, lasers and laser pointers, flags, chairs, drones, independent sound systems, generators, pets, smoke or gas canisters (including aerosols), megaphones, air-horns, dangerous or hazardous items of any description, glass vessels, poles (selfie sticks), unauthorized items for trading including but not limited to any goods or items using unauthorised event logos or brands, and any other item which in the sole opinion of Tatler Asia endangers public safety. Tatler Asia reserves the right to refuse entry to the Event or to eject anyone found to be in possession of any such item(s) without any refund.
18. Tatler Asia is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees, regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, age or physical ability and expect that all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers to uphold Tatler Asia’s code of conduct and treat each other with respect and dignity. Unacceptable behaviour includes but is not limited to: i. harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form ii. physical or verbal abuse iii. making derogatory or offensive comments or gestures iv. inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome advances v. disrupting sessions, talks, or activities Any person who engages in such behaviour will be subject to immediate expulsion from the Event without a refund, and may be barred from attending future events.
19. You acknowledge that Tatler Asia reserves the right to request your removal from the Event if Tatler Asia, in its sole discretion, considers your presence and/or behavior to create a disruption or to hinder the Event and/or the enjoyment of the Event by other attendees or speakers.
20. If you experience or witness any unacceptable behaviour, please immediately report it to event staff or security. Tatler Asia takes all reports seriously and will take appropriate action to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees.
21. You agree to be held responsible for your own safety and the safety of others and to comply with all event rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the Event organiser or staff.
22. You agree to indemnify and hold Tatler Asia and any of its affiliated entities harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your participation and/or attendance at the Event.
23. By attending the Event you acknowledge and agree to grant Tatler Asia the right at the Event to record, film, photograph or capture your likeness in any media now available and hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to Tatler Asia includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use and/or disseminate the media.
24. With regards to claims from ticket holders, Tatler Asia shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense, except in the case of death or personal injury if due to any negligent act or omission on their part. Persons attending the Event are responsible for their own valuables and Tatler Asia will not be liable for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the Venue.

26. Privacy policy. Tatler Asia’s privacy policy is available at www.tatlerasia.com/global-privacy-policy.
27. All intellectual property rights in and to the Event, the Event content and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Event are owned by Tatler Asia, its affiliated entities and/or the Event sponsors or speakers presenting at the Event. You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks (including without limitation “Tatler” or other trade names appearing at the Event, in any Event content and/or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the Event for any reason without the prior written permission of Tatler Asia.
28. To the fullest extent permissible by law, Tatler Asia shall be entitled to assign any and all of its rights and obligations under these terms and conditions provided that your rights are not adversely affected to any material extent.
29. If any provision contained in the terms and conditions set out herein is found to be invalid or unenforceable by any court, the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be severed or amended in such a manner as to render the rest of the provision(s) and the remainder of these terms and conditions shall remain valid and enforceable.
30. Any failure or delay on the part of Tatler Asia to enforce any of these terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of any of its rights hereunder.
31. Warranties and limitation of liability Tatler Asia gives no warranties in respect of any aspect of the Event or any materials related thereto or offered at the Event and, to the fullest extent possible under the laws governing this Agreement, disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a. particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness and merchantability. Neither Tatler Asia nor its affiliates can accept any responsibility or liability for reliance by you or any person on any aspect of the Event and/or any information provided at the Event. b. Other than to the extent required as a matter of law, neither Tatler Asia nor its affiliates shall be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential costs, damages or losses arising directly or indirectly from the Event or other aspect related thereto or in connection with this Agreement. c. The maximum aggregate liability of Tatler Asia for any claim in any way connected with therewith or this Agreement whether in contract, tort or otherwise (including any negligent act or omission) shall be limited to the amount paid by you to Tatler Asia to attend the Event.
32. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong SAR courts.
