Learn about Delhi's heritage and history on this two hour walking tour. You first meet up with your English speaking at the Digambar Jain Lal Temple, the oldest and most well known of the Jain temples in Delhi. Head to Chandni Chowk, an old and bustling market located near the Old Delhi Railway Station, where you can watch merchants and shoppers buying a myriad of available wares. Then you'll visit one of the temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, where you can view the Ardhnarishwar, which refers to a half male and half female form. There are many shops that dot the city, popular among locals. Among them, you'll visit a famous jalebi shop, where you can see these delicious sugar-syrup soaked deep fried batter pretzels. You'll also see a central Baptist church, and walk through one of the lanes which has been famed for selling silvery jewelry, and sparkling silver can be seen everywhere. Apart from the Baptist Church, the religious diversity in Delhi is further emphasized by a visit to a Silkh temple, the Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib. You also visit the Golden Mosque, otherwise known as the Sunehri Masjid. Then you'll see the Town Hall, and walk among a lane of centuries old residences (called havelis), so you can fully appreciate old world architecture and design. This includes the havelis of one of the greatest Urdu poets of all time, Mirza Ghalib. You get plenty of time to walk through some of the famous bazaars, finding steel items, cooking pots, and so much more. Your tour concludes at Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in all of India.

Cette visite à pied était bonne. J'ai eu quelques problèmes pour trouver le point de rendez-vous, mais le guide touristique et les opérateurs de l'entreprise ont été très patients et serviables. Je recommanderais cette visite si vous avez du temps à Delhi.

La tournée a été un peu courte. Ce serait bien si la visite pouvait intégrer d'autres aspects tels que les points culminants de la gastronomie, en plus des monuments religieux. Le guide est sympathique.
Notre guide touristique Shaina dirige un groupe de 5 touristes explorant un vieux Delhi avec toutes les informations pour vous pendant environ 2 heures à partir de Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir et se termine à Jama Masjid. Le fort rouge n'est pas inclus mais vous pouvez vous en procurer vous-même, je laisserai la photo vous montrer à quoi ça ressemble
c'est une visite courte et intéressante. guide touristique est un jeune étudiant et très enthousiaste. elle m'a conduit à tous les endroits du marché et du temple de Chandi Chowk, puis m'a tout expliqué. je ne comprends pas grand chose pour son accent indien anglais mais c'était ok. je me sens en sécurité quand je vais avec elle. la température est super chaude alors préparez-vous bien pour ça
C'était un si bon voyage pendant 120 minutes et la fille m'a bien traité, elle m'a tout expliqué petit à petit, elle était si professionnelle et avait une bonne connaissance des temples et de la mosquée de l'église et bien d'autres choses. Je lui suis tellement reconnaissante qu'elle a rendu mon voyage excellent. ..
Notre guide touristique, Ash était très sympathique et serviable. Nous avons appris de lui l'histoire du vieux Delhi et avons découvert comment les habitants vivent ici. Je vous recommanderais de participer à cette tournée si vous souhaitez découvrir le côté unique de l'Inde. Je vous suggère également de prendre la séance du matin car les lieux peuvent être fermés lorsque vous le visitez le soir.
