Welcome to the fifth edition of BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair! The art book fair welcomes local, regional, and international exhibitors—including publishers, artists, booksellers, and organisations—complemented by a programme of book launches, talks, workshops, displays, projects and performances. BOOKED: provides a platform for creative practitioners and publishers who are invested in books as a medium of artistic and intellectual expression to share their work with diverse audiences.

Dates and time:

  • 28 Apr 2023 (Fri): 3–7 pm
  • 29 Apr 2023 (Sat): 12–7 pm
  • 30 Apr 2023 (Sun): 12–7 pm
  • 1 May 2023 (Mon): 12–7 pm

Venue:

  • 1/F Galleries (JC Contemporary & F Hall), Tai Kwun, Central, Hong Kong
  • Tickets grant access to 1/F of JC Contemporary and F Hall for BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair.

Price:

  • $40 (Regular)
  • $30 (Concession, applicable to students aged under 18 or with full-time student ID, persons with disability, and seniors aged over 60)
  • Limited tickets available on site
  • Free entry for visitors under 5 years old.

Arrangements for entry:

  • Please present the digital ticket upon entry to JC Contemporary at your reserved date and time.
  • Your time slot indicates the time you can enter the exhibition. You may stay as long as you like.
  • Entry for latecomers will be subject to availability.
  • Please be reminded that a reservation does not guarantee immediate admission to the galleries. During peak times, there may be a queue to enter the galleries.
  • Last entry to the galleries stop 30 minutes before the closing time.
  • Please do not touch the exhibits.
  • No food or drinks are allowed inside the gallery.
  • No selfie sticks or tripods.
  • Visitor can store oversized luggage in the cloakroom during gallery opening hours.
  • Please place umbrellas at the umbrella rack by the gallery main entrance or store them in the cloakroom.

BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair Ticket Terms and Conditions

  • Your use of a BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair ticket signifies your agreement to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy Statement set out on https://www.taikwun.hk/en/privacy_policy and all applicable laws without limitation or qualification.
  • Presentation of a BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair ticket, admission into the venue and enjoyment of any privileges arising from or in connection with the BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair ticket by any person (whether by the applicant of the BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair ticket or a third party presenting the BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair ticket) shall be subject to these Terms and the Bye-laws of the Central Police Station Compound (the “Bye-Laws”).
  • A valid electronic or printed copy of a BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair ticket must be presented for admission. Tai Kwun Culture and Arts Company Limited (“Tai Kwun Arts”) may refuse admission outside the designated date/time. Admission requirements may apply.
  • No counterfeit BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair ticket will be accepted.
  • A BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair ticket may not be sold or exchanged for cash or any other goods, services and/or privileges.
  • No replacement of a BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair ticket will be issued if defaced, deleted, or corrupted.
  • You agree that Tai Kwun Arts may use any image or video that consists of your portrait taken at the event for any purposes (including promotion and marketing purposes or organisation of any other activities) anywhere worldwide in whatever manner and media as Tai Kwun Arts may deem fit.
  • Tai Kwun Arts may at any time refuse any person’s admission into the venue without compensation or otherwise.
  • Tai Kwun Arts may at any time suspend or terminate the use of a BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair ticket without compensation or otherwise.
  • In the event of any dispute in connection with the BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair ticket, the decision of Tai Kwun Arts shall be final, conclusive, and binding.
  • These Terms are written in English and the Chinese translation is for reference only. In the event of any inconsistencies between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.

Ce fut une excellente expérience de rendez-vous en solo pour quelqu'un comme moi qui aime les livres et l'art ! J'ai même réussi à trouver un livre sur lequel j'ai besoin de plus de connaissances !

Réserver pour la « foire réservée » de TaiKwun sur klook était super pratique. Je recommande vivement de s'assurer d'avoir un accès rapide à la foire et d'éviter la file d'attente.

Bien qu'il soit surpeuplé, la récolte est également pleine. Collectionnez toutes sortes de livres, peu importe le contenu, la reliure ou la forme, vous pouvez voir un type... même plusieurs types auxquels vous ne vous attendiez pas.

Les expositions à Tai Kwun ont toujours été bonnes et les modalités d'admission pour l'achat de billets avec klook sont très bonnes.

Les deux étages sont finalement revenus à cet événement. J'ai acheté beaucoup de livres. Il y a un café à l'étage. L'ensemble est très bon.

Les meilleurs artistes d'Extrême-Orient, la plupart d'entre eux viennent de Hong Kong et vendent les meilleures œuvres d'eux à un prix raisonnable. Si vous êtes un artiste d'autres pays et que vous voulez connaître l'art de l'Extrême-Orient ou si vous êtes un collectionneur de livres d'art ou de livres photo, c'est un événement incontournable lorsque vous visitez Hong Kong

C'est un salon auquel je participe une fois par an, il y a une bonne ambiance, et c'est l'occasion de faire connaissance avec d'autres artistes.
