This lovely hidden spot in a quiet village near Phuket Airport is ideal to visit right after landing, with amazing value and lush greenery all around. The warm Singaporean owner cooked alongside me, translated patiently and even shared great local travel tips as my personal guide. The recipes are simple to recreate and turn out beautifully. His sweet girlfriend kept capturing photos and videos of the whole fun experience. Totally worth coming!

If you’re visiting Phuket with family, just book this class. Seriously. 😆 We had such a fun time from start to finish. The market tour was a great experience. We got to learn about local ingredients, herbs and spices that we normally wouldn’t know much about. The chef were patient, knowledgeable and made everything easy to follow, even for complete beginners. From prep work to plating, everything was hands-on and well organised. The recipes were simple enough to recreate at home, yet packed with authentic Thai flavours. What I loved most was that it wasn’t just a cooking class, it became a family activity where everyone got involved, laughed, cooked together and enjoyed a fantastic meal together at the end. No fuss, no stress, just good food and great memories. Highly recommend for families, groups of friends, or anyone who loves Thai food. P.S. Next time, I’d skip the restaurant and just come back here. We made enough delicious food to feed an army! 😆🍳✨

Mes amis et moi avons passé une semaine à Phuket et cherchions une activité amusante à faire ensemble. Ayant déjà apprécié un cours de cuisine à l'école de cuisine Arun Thai à Bangkok, nous étions ravis de découvrir qu'ils avaient ouvert une nouvelle succursale à Phuket. L'expérience a été aussi agréable que dans nos souvenirs. Le chef parlait bien anglais, ce qui a rendu le cours facile à suivre et divertissant. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le trajet en tuk-tuk jusqu'au marché local, où nous avons pu en apprendre davantage sur les ingrédients frais utilisés dans la cuisine thaïlandaise. L'école est moderne, propre et idéalement située à Bangtao, près de notre hôtel. Le personnel était très chaleureux et amical, créant une atmosphère accueillante tout au long de la matinée. Nous avons passé un bon moment à cuisiner, à apprendre et à partager cette expérience ensemble. Ce fut une merveilleuse façon de passer une matinée à Phuket, et je recommanderais vivement l'école de cuisine Arun Thai à quiconque recherche une activité amusante, authentique et mémorable.

We booked a cooking class with a market tour during our family trip, and it was one of the highlights of our holiday. The market tour was a great experience for my daughter, who rarely visits wet markets in Singapore. It was also fun having my parents with us. Together with the chef, they shared tips on choosing fresh ingredients, and the kids learned a lot along the way. The chef made the class fun and engaging despite speaking only basic English. The dishes were delicious and easy to prepare as a family. We had a wonderful time bonding together and would definitely return to learn more dishes in the future.

We booked a cooking class for our family of 9 during our recent Phuket trip, and it was an excellent experience. I rarely cook, in fact the last time I stepped into a kitchen to make something was over 10 years ago. We wanted an activity that both the young and old could enjoy, something different that also brought everyone together. This was exactly that. The session was well planned from the market visit to the cooking and finally enjoying the dishes we prepared ourselves. It was engaging, easy to follow, and most importantly, everyone had fun. It even made me want to step into the kitchen again. Kudos to the team at Arun Thai for a memorable experience.

New cooking school in Phuket after Bangkok opened for a month. We learnt 4 dishes, very friendly staff to teach us the authentic Thai cuisine. Amazing!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic family activity and great value for money! We joined the morning class, which included a guided tour of the local market. My parents were especially excited to explore the market, while my kids enjoyed the unique experience of seeing a traditional wet market for the first time. The cooking class itself was very well organized. The instructor was friendly, patient, and made the recipes easy to follow for all skill levels. We loved learning how to cook authentic Thai dishes from scratch and, of course, enjoying the delicious food we prepared ourselves. The cooking class was fun, hands-on, and easy to follow. It was a wonderful bonding experience for our family, and we loved learning how to prepare authentic Thai dishes together. We also noticed a solo traveler enjoying the class, showing that it’s suitable for everyone—from 1 person to groups of all ages. One of the highlights of our Phuket trip. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Le cours a été mené de manière professionnelle ; et la sélection des plats était bien équilibrée avec une soupe Tom Yum, une salade de papaye, des nouilles Pad Thai et s'est terminée par un dessert, le fameux riz gluant à la mangue et à la noix de coco. De plus, nous avons eu droit à une expérience unique : faire nos courses dans un marché local pour les ingrédients ! Le cadre du cours comprenait un plan de travail pour la préparation, une cuisine extérieure et une salle à manger intérieure pour que les participants puissent savourer les plats. Surtout, un simple pouce levé pour tous les plats 👍👍
