About this product

  • Select the number of days you need when booking. If you decide to keep the device longer, those extra days will be charged at original retail price upon return
  • Days are calculated and charged inclusively. If you pick up the device on Thursday and return it on Monday, a total of five days will be charged
  • Days are calculated and charged regardless of whether or not you are using the service
  • A deposit of HKD 1,000 will be charged upon pick up. The deposit will be refunded after the device is returned

Usage reminder

  • Under the Fair Usage Policy, data speed and usage may be limited for users who process large amounts of data in a short period of time. This is at the discretion of the subscribed telecommunications company and may occur without prior notice
  • Please refrain from extensive video streaming and/or processing a huge amount of data in a short time
  • The operator is not responsible or liable for any changes made to data speed or usage. You will still be charged the agreed upon fee during your rental period
  • Rental period: Minimum of 3 days
  • If customers can return the device before 6:00am on the return date, no extra day charges will apply. If over the last return time, the operators will charge as the list price HKD26/day
  • Unlimited 3G data will apply with a speed limitation, which will be removed at 12:00am [GMT +8] the next day after 1GB per day at 4G speed is consumed

  • Please pay for any extra days you rented the device
  • Any fees incurred from late returns or uninsured lost/damaged devices will be deducted from the deposit. An extra fee will be charged if the deposit is insufficient
  • During non-business hour, return the device to drop box and pay for any additional days used from the deposit
  • if deposit by credit card, Banana WiFi will refund your deposit to your bank account within 14 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays)

Surcharges

  • Additional Days: HKD26 per day
  • Loss, damage, or breakage of WiFi device: HKD1,000
  • Loss, damage, or breakage of carrying pouch: HKD50
  • Loss, damage, or breakage of USB cable: HKD30
  • Loss, damage, or breakage of External battery: HKD150
  • Loss, damage, or breakage of SIM replacement fee: HKD200
  • Loss, damage, or breakage of Adapter: HKD60
  • In case of loss, damage, or theft, please notify Banana WiFi immediately. The user will be held responsible for any illegal or improper use by a third party prior to giving notice to the company
  • Likewise, the user is subject to paying compensation charges to Banana WiFi in accordance with their Loss/Damage/Theft policy

Cancellation policy

  • No cancellations, refunds, or changes can be made
