Nous n'étions pas familiers avec les aliments de Chengdu. Tout ce que nous savions, c'était que la nourriture serait très épicée. À notre grande surprise, de nombreuses collations ont donné un coup de pied, mais cela a fait ressortir l'essence des saveurs. Notre guide, Lucy, a écouté nos préoccupations et nous a mis à l'aise pour essayer des collations locales. Ils étaient tous délicieux ! J'ai adoré le fait qu'il s'agissait de restaurants locaux passionnés par le service de bons repas. Nous avons également apprécié le trajet en tuk tuk pour nous rendre aux quatre restaurants qui se sont avérés être un moyen de transport plus rapide. Entendre parler de l'histoire de la ville locale en a fait une excellente expérience d'apprentissage. C'est une ville gourmande qui ne vous décevra pas!
Notre guide Cecilia était très sympathique et serviable. Notre visite a été relaxante et amusante. La conversation avec elle en anglais était très facile et instructive.
