- The economic development of Yunnan is relatively backward. The scale and facilities of hotels of the same star rating are inferior to those in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions. Some newly built and well-equipped hotels are generally located around the city, about 15-20 minutes away from the city center by car (except for special reasons). Due to the special climate of Yunnan, hotel air conditioning is open or closed on a timed basis in winter. If you need extra bedding, electric blankets, etc., please ask the hotel staff.
