Good to know
- Regarding single room supplement: The quoted price is based on 1 person per bed. Very few hotels along the Daocheng Yading route have extra beds or triple rooms. If the number of tourists is odd, the tour guide will, after boarding and with the consent of the roommate, arrange for them to share a room. If a single male or single female cannot find a roommate, they will need to pay a single room supplement to stay in a room alone. Singles should pay the single room supplement in advance when registering or pay it on the bus. Hotel accommodations require identification to be processed, so please be sure to bring your ID card, otherwise you will be responsible for all consequences.
- The driver will inform you of the pick-up time and meeting point before 21:00 (9:00 PM) the day before departure. Please keep your phone lines open and wait patiently. If you do not receive notification during this time, please be sure to confirm with the registration customer service in time.
- This tour does not include tour guide services. The driver does not provide scenic spot explanations or enter scenic areas.
- Please pay the full tour fee before departure. If the tourist cancels the contract before the start of the trip, the necessary fees will be deducted according to the following standards: 29-7 days before the start of the trip: 5% of the total travel cost will be deducted. 7-5 days before the start of the trip: 20% of the total travel cost will be deducted. 4-3 days before the start of the trip: 50% of the total travel cost will be deducted. 2 days before the start of the trip: 60% of the total travel cost will be deducted. 1 day before the start of the trip: 80% of the total travel cost will be deducted. No departure on the day of the trip/early departure during the trip: 100% of the total travel cost will be deducted.
- When taking photos in plateau and Tibetan areas, please respect local management regulations and customs. Please do not take photos of checkpoints, bridges, military management areas, private residences, temples, religious services, and other places where photography is prohibited. If you forcibly take photos, your camera may be confiscated or there may be more serious consequences. The team members are responsible for the adverse consequences and impact caused thereby.
- In order to ensure the smooth operation of the team, after your reservation is completed, you cannot change/cancel it at will, otherwise, relevant handling fees and loss fees will be charged as required; tourists are not allowed to leave the group at will during the trip. If you are forced to leave the group for your own reasons, it will be regarded as a breach of contract by the tourist, and you must sign a disclaimer. Because our hotel/car and other group fees are combined consumption, no refunds will be given for leaving the group; if leaving the group causes losses to the travel agency, the guest shall make up for it. All expenses after leaving the group shall be borne by the tourist, and they shall be responsible for all personal/property safety.
- Although this activity does not require a certain amount of physical strength, please do not participate if you are too weak or sick due to the high altitude. Pay attention to safety, follow the guide's arrangements throughout the entire process, and do not be late, take unauthorized adventurous actions, leave the team, etc., otherwise you will be responsible for the consequences.
- Without reducing the main attractions, the team leader has the right to adjust the order of visiting attractions according to factors such as weather, flights, traffic, seasons, and peak season crowds.
- The hotels listed in the itinerary are scheduled by our room scheduling staff according to the room availability at each stage. Tourists/group organizers cannot unilaterally specify the room. If the preferred hotel is fully booked, alternative hotels will be arranged. In special circumstances such as peak season, due to tight room supply, hotels of the same level will be arranged. Hotel arrangements are for two people in a room, and the room type cannot be specified. Conditions in Tibetan areas are limited, and accommodation standards cannot be compared with those in cities. For environmental protection, it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Check the room supplies when entering the room. If the supplies are missing, please notify the waiter immediately. Please take care of the items in the room as required by the hotel. If there is any damage or loss, please compensate according to the hotel regulations before checking out.
- Traveling in the western Sichuan Tibetan area involves many things that you cannot understand or tolerate in prosperous cities: in terms of hardware, there are problems with water, electricity, and transportation. Sudden water and power outages often occur, and temporary traffic controls often catch us off guard. Please be prepared.
- Because the traffic conditions in the plateau area are not very ideal, natural disasters such as blizzards, landslides, mudslides, etc. may occasionally occur, which may cause traffic jams and delays. Therefore, it is recommended that friends from other provinces not buy air tickets or train tickets that leave on the same day as their return trip.
