The haunted taxi experience is an immersive 60-minute horror tour utilizing Japan’s cutting-edge technologies from Sony. Featuring 3D visuals, 360 Reality Audio, and Sound AR, this tour takes participants through hidden urban myth spots in Tokyo, offering spine-chilling suspense from the comfort of a luxury wagon.
Inside the car, participants watch urban myth footage on Sony’s spatial reproduction display monitor. As the video progresses, unexpected events occur, creating the sensation of being part of a live urban myth. At various stops, the immersive experience is deepened with the "Locatone™" app, which enhances the eerie atmosphere with site-specific audio.
The tour's setting involves investigating urban myth spots alongside the driver, adding realism and fear to the journey.
