The Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) is Queensland’s largest and most loved annual event, attracting on average 400,000 people. Run by the RNA and staged at its original birthplace, the Brisbane Showgrounds, the Ekka brings the country and city together for a true celebration of agriculture. Showcasing the best of Queensland, with more than 21,000 competition entries from woodchop to giant vegetables, over 10,000 animals, from beef cattle to cats and dogs, world-class live entertainment, award-winning food and wine, and a carnival rides, showbags, family shopping, educational activities, and much more. The iconic show has been running since 1876 and is full of traditions, a unique atmosphere, and childhood memories that have been passed down through generations of families.

Le festival Eka était amusant ! C'était un peu pitoyable de voir les animaux exposés dans le poulailler, mais à part ça, j'ai passé un bon moment. Il y avait beaucoup à manger et à voir, y compris la coupe glacée aux fraises qu'il faut essayer quand on va à Eka. Si j'en ai l'occasion, j'y retournerai l'année prochaine :)

Ils ont eu une magnifique cérémonie d'ouverture avec de superbes discours de tous ceux qui y ont assisté. J'ai adoré voir tous les animaux.
