Snow Trekking Experience in Yamagata

We, YAMAGATA EXPERIENCE, are based in Yamagata and offer hands-on activities such as canoeing, SUP, snowshoeing, and hot air ballooning. In spring, take a trip by canoe to the miraculous view of "Lake Shirakawa Submerged Forest." From summer to autumn, experience tours take you inside the lake surrounded by nature. To a space surrounded by blue skies, white clouds, the scent of the forest, and the chirping of birds. In winter, we run an ``Icefall Snow Tour'' that takes you to Yamagata's unknown winter scenery. From 2023, we will begin a hot air balloon flight experience that will take you from the water to the sky and take in the beautiful scenery of Yamagata from above! Each field is an experiential tour where you can fully experience the charm of Yamagata in an adventurous mood.

We will carefully explain how to row canoes and SUP, so even beginners with no experience or families can enjoy the experience safely. Even first-timers can participate in the winter tour, as the guide will provide full support. For the balloon flight experience, we have a full participation plan where you become part of a team and prepare and launch the balloon together!
