WS Tour Eiffel - Saint-Charles

On the positive side it was in a great location and clean on arrival but that’s where the positive end. There is no reception (noted on the website) but when we communicated when we were to get our access codes (on 2 separate occasions) no response. Eventually we only got an apparent automated message on the day we arrived , with no personnel reply to our messages ( were they even read? ). The small studio was accessed by a closed corridor (secured by a passcode) which had a stale damp smell , and on entering the studio there were large sliding glass doors with no other fresh air access. Very poor air ventilation. There were signs on the sliding door in French only, which seemed to be warning about restricting access to the outside area. We struggled to even open the doors. There were only 4 small towels for a seven day stay. The small ensuite had on obvious displaced tile and a lower door water damaged. On showering water leaked on to outside shower floor. After the first day exploring Paris, we returned to the unit to find a stale, musty smell. On closer inspection we noted some mould on the lower level skirting board. We eventually were able to open the sliding door with some relief from the smell. However as we were only in the unit for limited hours at night the stench got worse as the week and the heat progressed. Overall it was a disappointing stay, and that was a shame .
