Oceana Portvillage Zamami

Really enjoyed my stay at Oceana, which is a 5-6 min walk from the Zamami port. It’s a very well run and operated hotel, the owner/manager takes an active role in ensuring everything runs smoothly, including driving the shuttle to the beaches (Furizamami and Ama), which is much appreciated. There is also free water and coffee/tea. Breakfast is an additional cost, which I did not try but looked good. The rooms are spacious and I had one that had a balcony overlooking the water, which was nice. Also, they accommodated an early check-in, which was very welcoming after the ferry ride in. The place just felt very hospitable, staff were helpful and friendly. Would come back in the future for sure.

Pretty basic facility with basic amenities. They provide small bath and beach towels. The property is maintained very clean. The staff are attentive, a little too attentive in fact and very helpful. We forgot our car seat and they sent it in the next ferry. Very grateful for that.

Very friendly staff, made me feel welcomed to the island! Very spacious room, working AC, and comfortable beds.

Old building, no breakfast available on the day. Nothing to eat around as restaurants closed. Very nice staff and clean room. Transport to the beach available. Just very dated building. We checked out early. Definitely not value for money.

The receptionist is committed to taking care of the guest. He run the hotel by himself it seems, from driving the guest to the beaches, running outbto guest with a dry towel after a storm, and conversing with the guest to the best if his abilities. Very kind and generous! The hotel is charming just as the little island itself.

Outstanding staff :)

The hotel manager was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. He made us feel at home and we will do what we can to visit again because of the experience. Would highly reccomend.
