The Palazzo Prestige Club Lounge

Overall, our stay at the Palazzo was "ok", but there were several aspects of the experience that were disappointing. My biggest concern was the substantial incidental hold placed on our debit card at check-in. This was not explained to us at check-in. We stayed five nights, and the Palazzo placed a $750 hold ($150 per night) on our card. We don't charge purchases to our room, so having that amount of our available funds tied up for the duration of our stay was inconvenient. Ironically, we were forced to charge purchases to the room this trip since what little available funds we had left were for expenses outside the Palazzo. We also experienced a complete water outage for more than an hour during our stay. Unfortunately, this occurred while we were getting ready for a 2:00 p.m. show at the Sphere. I was in the middle of a shower when the water stopped and had to rinse the soap off using bottled water we happened to have in the room. While I understand unexpected issues can occur, this was a significant inconvenience, especially at a luxury resort.

Service, staff and amenities were top notch.

Stayed prestige club and that was excellent.

*Staff across the board was very good, attentive, polite. *Check-in and out was smooth and 1 hr late check-out was graciously extended no additional charge. *Prestige Club room and concierge service is recommended. Sadly, limited selection for GF and food servers not informed about food allergies. Happy hour bar tenders knowledgable and helpful. *Room had broken piece of furniture (tv console housing fridge). Room had no amenities at check-in with linens for one and room had reservation for four. Housekeeping was attentive and promptly brought linens and amenity kits. *Pool area is attractive but poorly managed. Limited hours. Adult and family areas not clearly indicated. Lounges not maintained with used towels and used dishes/cups littering area. Appeared to be only one towel station to service to large an area.

Clean room

I complained with the manager of the hotel and housekeeping for the poor management of my request to clean my room after the toilet got clogged. 9 am I requested to have the room clean (while we are out of the hotel) but returned to the hotel at around 2PM and the room was not cleaned yet. I called like 4 times and everytime I called, I was told that the cleaner is on its way (1st call was told it will only take 15-20 minutes) and took about an hour until after I complained that the cleaner arrived. When I spoke with another housekeeper on line and the manager I was told that all my earlier calls were not recorded (which explained why the room was not cleaned and the follow up cleaner never arrived). Its very frustrating.

Great location, luxury accommodations & loved the Club Floor amenities - definitely worth it!

Having access to the Prestige Club was Fabulous! Great breakfast and wonderful cocktail hours with great view ! Shopping is great, walking distance to Chanel, Gucci and Prada! Excellent restaurant nearby!
