Beautiful, authentic Florentine building that gushes medieval Tuscan energy. The building is just along the river and a two-three minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio, making it extremely central for things to do in Florence. The staff were incredibly helpful and gracious, and my room had a view that would make anyone enjoy their stay. I felt like I was staying in a true Tuscan hotel, but the smaller spaces and stairwell will make this less desirable for some. 24 hour reception ensured I could always get into my room or have my questions answered, and not having to carry a key with me was a nice benefit of their system. Seemed like many groups were staying here, especially younger people. I was in one of only two single rooms (the less expensive one) and it was great. I had a separate bathroom from my room, which was incredibly gorgeous, spacious, and well-maintained. While it was an older building (Built 1507 I believe) it was very quiet and I could even sleep with my window open given its location away from busier piazzas and plazas at night. Overall, great choice when visiting Florence, especially if young and in a group of 3-5. Shout out Lorenzo! He was truly a great host and very friendly when helping me with questions. Not the most luxurious place to stay in town, but highly authentic and genuine with a Renaissance charm. It is located more in the old city center and can be a 10-20 minute walk to places outside of that area, but taxis are available as well.

Such a beautiful, historic, and wonderful hotel. One of our favourites in the whole trip. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, thanks so much for the smiles you gave us. The location itself is wonderfully situated within the city. The staff also recommended a great restaurant, which we were finally able to enjoy on our final evening. Go for the wild boar (Pappardelle with wild boar / Pappardelle al cinghiale ).

I loved staying at Hotel Alessandra! It was regal, yet quaint and located perfectly for seeing the sights of Florence. The rom was clean and had everything I needed. The staff was very helpful, all the time!

A perfect location next to the Ponte Vecchio! Overly friendly and accommodating staff, very clean, cool air conditioning, comfortable beds, nice shower, access to a rooftop sitting area, and the ability to purchase wine. Only complaint: two flights of steps to climb before you could use a small elevator to go up another couple of floors. Also, we weren't particularly excited about their breakfast offerings at 10 Euros per person. We would recommend eating somewhere else.

El hotel está ubicado en una zona excelente. Está muy limpio, el personal muy atento, y muy bien el desayuno. Le estoy dando 4 estrellas, porque el hotel está en un segundo y hay que subir al primer piso para poder usar el elevador. Con equipaje eso no es muy conveniente.
