My Friends Hotel - Hostel

The staff were fantastic. The room was fine for what I wanted. The only thin was I booked that place because it sai 3 min from market, walking street and a few more minutes from other sights. In actual fact it was a long taxi ride to all the places of interest.

the bathroom smells, there are ants everywhere, there are stains everywhere, and the paint is falling off the walls. The door to the patio does not lock, so the next door person could come in any time. There isn't a safe in the room. The light flickers in the bathroom. The water doesn't get very hot. The toilet doesn't flush all the way unless you hold the button down for a few seconds. The location shown on hotels .com is not the location of the actual hotel--it is located in district 5, not district 1 near Ben Thanh market

First time to Vietnam, just picked a place to stay. Whole crew was very friendly. Helped us with all our needs. Off the main road a little, but we made due. 5 night stay, price was good.

Das Hotel ist etwas älter und mit dem Auto schwer zu erreichen, einige Fahrer sind verärgert, weil es nur eine Richtung gibt und kein Abbiegen. Die Zimmer haben ihre besten Tage hinter sich, sind aber sauber und zweckmäßig. Pool - haben wir nicht ausprobiert, da es kein Chlor gibt und das Wasser nicht gefiltert wird. Die Lage ist gut für Straßeneinkäufe, weiter auf der Hotel Hintergasse, bis Sie auf die andere parallele Hauptstraße in der Nacht zu bekommen. Bessere Preise (etwa 50% weniger als Start) als in der völlig überbewertet Ben Tanh Markt. (which is a total Touristrap) So if you want to shop and save money this is a good place to stay.

Felt very welcome there. Beautiful hosts very helpful even withdtanding the language barrier. Would have no trouble whatsoever recommending this place to other hostel goers! Such a clean and well maintained place. A little bit away from the centre but so serene and calm. Thankyou every at My friends

The hotel is about 40 minutes away from the location on hotels.com,Google knows where so look there first. It's down a road taxis struggle to get to. We booked a room with black out currants and were given a room with no windows. We were then 'upgraded' to a room with windows but no black out curtains... It had a frosted glass front door that let all the light from the hallway and room opposite in. There is a tiny wet room with no rain heat shower, and no chance of that deep soak tub on the listing. The pool is a think green colour that looks to have been that easy for a while. The cleaning mechanism is dismantled beside it. Reception didn't seem bothered and were reluctant to tell us when it would be cleaned, it was always too be done tomorrow. The room itself is dusty, do not look behind the TV (which feels like it will fall off the wall if you try to touch it) as it's think with dust. We plugged in a chromecast and instantly regretted it. The bed is solid, whereas the pillows melt away under the weight of your head. The duvet is tiny, we ordered another. The air conditioner in our room was stuck on, the remote didn't work. To end on a positive note, the lift worked and it has WiFi.

Hotel was ok. Appeared to be under construction, dust everywhere and building works going on internally. Power went out about 3 times during our stay and was out for about an hour each time. Pool didnt look clean, so did not use and rooftop area was uninviting. Location on hotels.com was wrong, had to google maps once we got there and location is down an ally, completly out of the way. About 40 minute walk to city attractions.

This hôtel is really not clean and bad smell in th room. Stayer there 3 nights and they Never clean the room. Thé pool is also dirty. There was empty bottle and garbage at the pool and was Nevers cleaned durign my star. Thé location is also really bad. Just go somewhere else.

The room is nice but it is really far from everything. They don't provide airport transport at least not reasonable. They asked me to pay 20 dollars but that cost way more than any taxi. The hotel is not close inof to walk anywhere. You have to get a taxi for everything. They were rude also when I asked about the airport trasport they kind giggled about it. I would not recommend you stay at this place. Although the room is nice the quality of everthing else is poor.
