Konvin Hotel by Reykjavik Keflavik Airport

The hotel has renovations happening. The room was clean but very dark. We woke up to the sound of construction/machines. The bedding is not soft. The showers and bathroom in the room was nice. The rooms need more lamps and better bedding but overall was good for the price and close to the airport. Recommend renting a car to drive around.

Great spot

It was perfect for what we needed. Big clean rooms and blackout curtains and a restaurant. Very helpful staff. Shuttle was excellent as well.

Everyone was very helpful with directions and questions that we had. We had a late flight and they were able to store our bags so that we could go into Keflavik. Very beautiful town and very beautiful hotel. Restaurant and bar areas in the hotel were also very good.

Room was clean, looks like they’re upgrading. Good location for a day or two max. Staff was very helpful!!

Friendly staff, smooth check in. Beds super comfy! Room was clean, not much in amenities, no tissues, or lotion. Lighting is low in the bathroom if you are putting on make-up. We arrived early and they do have a place to store your luggage, that is a plus. Not much do do around the area so waiting for 2pm to check in after a long flight is a challenge. Overall, we liked the Hotel.

The Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The property is at an old military base so, there is not much to do once you arrive. We arrived about 9:30 so missed using the Hotel shuttle. We had to get a taxi from the airport and it is expensive. For our return flight, again timing was an issue so we missed the shuttle. The Hotel did arrange for a taxi to the airport so that worked. The room was spacious, lacks a bit of lighting. They don't provide Kleenex or lotion so be sure to bring some. We did buy breakfast there and it was plentiful and tasty.

I really liked the shuttle back to the airport, I just wish they’d pick you up at the airport as well. The room was beautiful, bathroom was also huge and beautiful.

This place is just ok. We stayed here on an overnight layover. Expedia said there was an airport shuttle, which is why I booked there. The shuttle only goes BACK to the airport; a cab to the hotel cost us $53. Desk staff was lukewarm, not friendly when we arrived. Then when I asked about making a reservation to go to airport in the morning, she said I had to scan the QR and do it and pay on line. When quizzed, she finally admitted she could do it. It took her literally 30 seconds, although she was cranky about it. Room was fine, but had certain oddities. There was a coffee pot and hot water heater. They were, however, not plugged in and nowhere near an outlet. You had to clear the opposite side of the counter of your belongings and then carry a tray of stuff to the other side of the room to plug it in. (Why not just put the flipping thing near the plug????). The only tea option was an awful herbal mix—no regular black or green tea. Bed and bathroom were fine. But I wouldn’t stay there again.
