The property was lovely, however I am and older traveller and the paths were slippery, following rain and I had a fall when checking in. Went down like a sack of potatoes, no staff member asked me how I was the next day. Was very careful for the rest of my stay.

Lovely traditional style Balinese location, with stunning gardens and swimming pool. Little piece of tranquility just off the hustle and bustle of one of the main streets in Ubud. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, constantly cleaning and looking after the garden. What a great place!! Thanks for the stay!

Exceptional staff and great location, but room fell short The staff at Artini 2 Cottages were truly outstanding — probably the warmest and kindest I experienced during my five-week trip through Southeast Asia. Every interaction felt genuine, and they went out of their way to be helpful. I even had the chance to meet who I believe was the owner, which made the stay feel personal and welcoming. The location is also excellent. It’s within easy walking distance to shopping, temples, cafés, and restaurants, making it very convenient for exploring Ubud. Unfortunately, the room itself did not live up to expectations. It was quite dark and felt a bit gloomy. The property is older, which I understand, but my room in particular felt dated and somewhat depressing. There was a steep flight of stairs to reach my room, and the stairwell lights flickered throughout the night. I ended up turning them off, which made navigating the stairs tricky after dark. My room was also close to the lobby area, so I would wake up early to voices and activity. The food was disappointing overall, though the pool was lovely and very refreshing in the Ubud heat. It’s difficult to leave a review like this because the staff were so genuinely kind. However, the condition and atmosphere of the room were enough that I decided to leave a day early. If the rooms were updated, this place would be a gem because the hospitality is truly exceptional.

Truly beautiful. Syaff were wonderful, room was clean, spacious. Pool was stunning. An oasis in the middle of Ubud - fantastic location! If i am ever back, I will be staying here!

Very convenient and charming. A little oasis in the heart of Ubud. Everything worked well, wifi good, breakfast amazing. Would recommend.

First of all I want to say the staff was amazing and my rating has nothing to do with them. Now onto the review Pros Location Excellent Staff Cons The bed!!! The bed was so hard it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. The padlock entry/exit. Due to the monkeys in the area you have to use a padlock to lock the door when you leave. Very inconvenient. The water coming from the sink was cold but you could burn your skin when taking a shower. The room was a bit worn not like the pictures. This hotel is a step up from a Hostel. If you need a place to sleep store your luggage and close to the sites this is your place but don’t expect anything more for a comfortable staff, the photos were highly deceiving.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a good stay. Staff are great, really helpful and they go out of their way to help you. The pool was good to relax in, very quiet and enough loungers. It’s away from main road so very peaceful. A walk away from the shops. Plenty of food choices around. The room was good but needs a little improvement. The only downside was that we could hear the people walking in the room above us loud in the middle of the night, which did disturb us every night, they were walking but it was loud! as the upper level flooring is made of bamboo so if your going to this hotel ask for a top floor room so you don’t experience the noise.

very friendly staff and helpful with recommendations, arrangements for cars /tours etc. beautiful setting. nice retreat from the business and chaos of Ubud. The food was ok but a little expensive for the quality.

Great eating areas nearby, lovely quiet spot in a busy location. Beautiful surroundings and great staff. Noisy people above us, with every noise heard and scrapping of chairs in early hours of the night.

Artini cottages let us check in early and the service is excellent. food is great and location is close to market and restaurants. will recommend staying here
