Can’t beat it for the price. Cheap, clean and comfortable facilities. Stayed one night after traveling around Biwako.

This hotel was built around 2013/2014 so it is in good shape & offers all the room conveniences of a modern Japanese hotel. Its buffet breakfast room is also a restaurant open to the public. The Japanese breakfast selection was excellent. Reception staff were polite & helpful. The hotel is very near to Kusatsu station but there was no problem with noise from trains. There is a handful of restaurants on the square to the east side of the station, easily accessible through the station (the hotel is on the west side). Rooms are "the standard small size typical of a modern Japanese business hotel".

Very large room with a modern interior. Staff very friendly throughout the stay. Room cleanliness cannot be faulted. The breakfast buffet has a massive selection of dishes so is great to suit everyone. The restaurant dinner menu is varied and delicious food. Although the hotel is not in central Kyoto the train station (2 minute walk) has frequent trains into the center (less than 20 minute train ride, less on rapid services). It’s location means the rooms are very quiet at night so it’s easy to get a good nights sleep.

Good price and very clean and up dated. Room was very small. We were gone a lot in Kyoto so did not bother us. Know closet and hard to fit luggage, but we managed.

For convenience to the train station, this hotel is nice. Our room was non-smoking however it had been a smoking room at one point in time. The room still smelled like remnants of cigarette smoke, which was not to my liking. However, overall, our stay was very nice

Oltiin kumppanin kanssa

Room is a typical Japanese business hotel size (a tad bit in the small side). But the staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The local area is pretty quiet with a Family mart a block away. Parking is a bit of a hassle in that you have to go to the back to use a parking elevator. But for the price, definitely worth staying.
