We stayed in two different rooms as we added a night last minute. The decor was fun; the bathrooms were exquisite; the space spacious. Breakfast was delightful and tasty. Happy hour was a nice touch and allowed us to meet other guests. The front porch had the most spectacular view of the town and water and was enjoyable to hang out on.The hostesses were gracious, helped with reservations, luggage and parking the car. A delightful stay.

Easily one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The rooms balance honoring the Victorian history, with modern comforts. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom modern. The main lounge is incrediblly comfortable and inviting, with tea and snacks available. The location is fantastic, only a 5 minute walk into the heart of Queenstown. The service is what sets this hotel apart. The multitude of small touches really make staying here a fantastic experience (the cooked to order included breakfast, drinks and baked goods throughout the day, water at night, packed breakfasts & lunches for early morning day trips, etc.), and the entire team that runs this property are friendly, helpful and dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable as possible.

This was a standout experience for us. If you have the chance to stay here, do! The staff make this a very special experience - nothing is too great an ask. The breakfast is superb, the afternoon snacks, canapés and cakes is a lovely touch and we loved our stay.

Fantastinen From the moment we checked in until the time we departed, the staff at Hulbert House paid special attention to our every need. They were friendly, warm and very knowledgeable on local activities and restaurants. Breakfast was outstanding and drinks and snacks were available around-the-clock. And the suites were five-star all the way. We will return to this lovely place in 2025!!
