Our stay at Thorps Farm was excellent. The room was immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Janet was pleasant and the perfect host. We would definitely recommend and stay again

Fantastinen We really enjoyed our stay - the room had everything we expected for a B&B stay and more. There were some lovely touches that stood out such as fresh milk from the farm, and we found the breakfast room really homely. Janet was also a brilliant host who made sure we had everything we needed

Overall, this was a great stay,
Positives;
1 - Great breakfast options, including a full english.
2 - A very welcoming and friendly host.
3 - Light and airy room, with good shower facility.
4 - Tea/coffee making facility in room.
5 - Nice farm with Cows and Goats on site.
Handful of negatives (*2nd one i was warned about by the host, but it could do with improving for future stays);
1 - Mattress was a little on the stiff side. Could do with a memory foam topper etc.
2 - The overrun on the bathroom extractor fan has a very long delay on switching off, which can be distracting when trying to sleep*.
3 - The grandfather clock in the entrance hall chimes every hour, on the hour, which is very audible in the rooms upstairs (original thin farmhouse doors).
4 - No method of locking the door, which could allow an opportunity for other guests to enter room while absent/touring area.

Very good host, and accomodating to my needs in getting away early in the morning, allowing for an early breakfast.
The room was immaculate, spacious and very comfortable.

The rooms are set within the working family farm and made for a wonderful stay. I could have watched the goats and cows all day long.
The room and bathroom were immaculate, our host was most friendly and the breakfast homemade with local produce. We had a brilliant time. Both the homemade yogurt pots with homegrown berries and fry up were delightful.
Thank you so much for making our stay fantastic.

Our 3 night stay at Thorpe Farm was excellent. The hostess, Janet, was very welcoming, friendly & helpful.
Any issues were promptly dealt with and she certainly made our stay pleasant.
The room was comfortable and well maintained and the rate was very reasonable as well
The b & b is on a working farm which added another interesting aspect to our stay.
Thoroughly recommended & thank you.
