In 40 years of travel only 4 hotels stand out for all the wrong reasons. This is one of them. Dirty floors. Ridiculous "breakfast." THE sole chair in the room was a very uncomfortable desk chair that paired with a Ridiculous desk. At check in I mentioned that I wish they'd posted that the POOL and SPA are closed. The front desk person responded: "We don't have a pool ' I let her go on that misrepresentation as I had just parked in front of the pool! The toilet seat is inches above the floor. The bathroom mirror lighting is simply unacceptable. Ladies, bring your own lighted mirror. The floor was beyond dirty. Must have been six months between cleanings. The only redeeming factor is location. Stay away is my thought about this place.

The staff was very nice. The toilets were dirty with mold. The walls in the bathroom looked liked someone came in with mud, or God forbid worse, and left brown streaks on the door frame. The air in our room was horrible, bring a fan. The TV at 100 sounds like 50 at best. My Mom and I stayed there; I am 52 years old and I was having a hard time hearing the TV. The blankets were the most uncomfortable scratchy feeling coverings that you could ever imagine...2 sheets and a scratchy blanket per Queen bed...no comforter.

If you are looking for a cheap hotel with little to offer this could be acceptable. I have stayed here the last three years and leave more disappointed each time. It's so sad to see any business fail in so many little things that the sum total makes me question the stay. The Breakfast bar has been stripped to nothing except the waffle maker. The eating area and supplies were lacking serious attention. The waffle batter ran out every morning and was only replaced upon request. there was no effort by the front desk to wipe down tables and keep things stocked. Last year I had a concerns all four days I was there and none were addressed or satisfied. This trip I left my charger in the room. I called to get it back, but the front desk blew off my request and never returned my call. Finally if the price is super cheap the place is fine but there has to be better hotels everywhere.

The location was in a pretty area. The staff was nice and check in was easy. The room we had wasn't great, just okay. I would say it was fine for a quick place to sleep on the road and it's cheap. It has an updated look in the room, but it could have stood a better cleaning and maintenance job. The free breakfast offered a waffle station, boiled eggs and cereals. No scrambled eggs or other proteins. The price per night was reasonable and that's probably what makes it worth staying here if you are on a budget.
