Rooms were lovely and clean and comfortable. Food was excellent and there was plenty of off road parking

We had a cottage instead of the hotel part which worked out better for our group.
It meant it was self catering. There were only a few utensils in the kitchen but enough for the weekend.
The TV didn't work well but it was resolved quickly.
Not many lights worked throughout the cottage.

Everything was good staff were very helpful and polite room was nice and clean and breakfast 10/10 so I would stay there again 👌

In the room we were in (8), the shower room/toilet had a badly broken floor tile, paint badly cracked and flaking off the door frame, mould on the silicone around the sink and between ceiling panels and in the bedroom the wallpaper was peeling off the wall around the window area and the view of the tv was obstructed by the bed. There was no one at reception the morning we checked out to report these issues. This was the 2nd time we stayed and it was fine last year but now we will look for an alternative.

This was a wonderful location. It was walking distance from both Windermere and Bowness.
The breakfast was delicious and all the staff were quite helpful!

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was on the ground floor, it was nice but could hear lots of banging of the door next door (think they were struggling to close it) and noise from above. Maybe would choose a room on one of the upper floors next time.
