DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Theme Park Resort

The room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. The ac in the room was great. Absolutely loved the breakfast. Also, the fact that I could walk to SeaWorld was a huge plus .

Lots of added expenses and outrageous prices.

Upon packing, I noticed that my phone charger was completely missing and I have not found it as of yet, so had to come up missing from the hotel room

2 adults / 2 (12) boys - Booked a kid friendly resort close to SeaWorld. The mini golf clubs had jagged exposed metal that scratched my son. Cute little course though. The pool table has warped spots. Even though you have to check out the sticks and balls from the opposite side of the resort, many of the balls (including the cue ball, 8, and 9), are missing and no chalk for the cues. The outdoor kid zone would be great if it was kept up. The restaurant, pool side bar, and pools were everything they were advertised. Food and service staff were friendly. We stayed in the tower. The rooms were clean,but showed their age. We booked 2 rooms. The boys room had no issues. Traditional 2 kings with a mini fridge , desk, and tv. We had the same room design across the hall. Though the hotel was non-smoking, it was obvious previous guest had not adhered to that policy. That is expected in most places. What was not expected was that when the toilet was flushed at 2am it would continue to fill and drain (loudly) for the rest of the night. Push to flush toilets, so there was no handle to jiggle. When the front desk was told the next day, their response, "oh sorry" was not very comforting. Next time we will not be as concerned with the proximity to the park we are going to when choosing our stay. There are many better options in the area.

The staff was good the restaurant food okay. I think they should put a light by the villa or room number light on your room door so you can find your room easily.

Unfortunately, this stay was not pleasant for me. I left an item in my room and upon check-out I realized within about 5mins of leaving that I was missing an my item. I immediately contacted the front desk and they advised me I could return and retrieve my item. I was assured at least 2 to 3x that no one would go in the room before I returned and that all would be good. Upon returning my item was gone and the room was emptied out despite multiple reassurance that I would have no problems coming back to receive it.

Right across the street from sea world. very comfortable bed, parking was a hassle though
