Beautiful spa area with plenty of seating around Option of sauna or steam rooms plus pool Corridors in hotel a little bit tired and rooms quite bland

A three star hotel at 5 star prices. Basic bedrooms with uncomfortable beds. I contacted the front desk about this especially because my bed kept moving and my pillows were falling between the gaps. No alternative provided. Also, I kept going down to reception for basics — water, bathrobe, slippers etc The leisure facilities downstairs added a nice touch to what was essentially a standard experience. Breakfast at €26 is a total ripoff!

Great comfy stay. Very well priced and food was lovely. Was inconsistent with breakfast as various items didn’t arrive on day one it was highlighted on day 2 as they arrived which was too late.

The bad bits – I booked 5 rooms for 3 nights but got given the worst room in the hotel. Bathroom so small only 1 could use at once. Shower with screen so small the room got wet every time you used it. Plastic undersheets on the bed like a low class hotel. Unimpressive given the spend involved. Never had a room like that in this hotel before. Good bits. Brilliant barman. Real professional. Restaurant excellent. Great chef & hospitality team. Breakfast impressive & available at 06.30 which is appreciated.

Arrived and had to wait because our room was not ready at the 3 pm check in time. When we were able to check in we had a different room type than the one reserved. We were ok with it until discovering after coming back from dinner that the air conditioning did not work. The best they could do was split our family into two rooms for the first night of the stay. Both of those also had air conditioning issues (it was barely functioning in one room and not at all in the other). We were unable to sleep for most of the night. We were finally transferred to the room we had actually reserved for the second night which did have working air conditioning but it would shut off during the night and we would have to get up to turn it back on. We were given free breakfast for the inconvenience but not with it given all the issues we experienced.

What a lovely stay , food was good gorgeous setting for the restaurant. Helpful staff and a very clean and tidy hotel Will definitely stay again.

Very lovely hotel, really pleasant staff, room was excellent, really enjoyed the breakfast, I will most certainly book to stay here again if working in the area :-)
