Ok but far from special, as it no doubt could be. Staff demeanour was patchy. One really good young guy on reception who was, I think, part Moroccan. He was a star, very good indeed. Others, perfunctory at best. Rooms ok but noise insulation was very poor, wafer thin walls. Few amenities, nothing proactively positive. Breakfast average. 3* for me but ‘could do better’ (a lot better) with a bit more effort.

Absolutely amazing! The staff is amazing, hotel is beautiful and perfectly located. The rooms are gorgeous and the AC is cool. I would give The Hotel Palazetto Madonna a 10/10 and would 1000% book again when we return. This is an amazing place with even more amazing people. One a small canal, just down from the Grand Canal. Easy to get to everything you need. The answer is yes, this is the place to stay in Venice!

We loved our stay here. It’s the perfect location, the rooms are really clean and the breakfast was wonderful. We would definitely stay here when visiting Venice next time.

This hotel is right on the canal. It is very convenient to St Marks Square as well as the pick up location for our car to the cruise port. Great breakfast.
