The hotel had clean rooms everything was very good I will definitely come back and stay here. Definitely recommended

Very nice hotel. Would return.

Pros: has enough dedicated parking, convenient location, good panoramic view on higher floors, rooftop bar has good view of the city and mountains, front desk and bar staff are friendly and tried to be helpful Cons: the room initially provided to us was not clean, the second room has door issue that makes it hard to lock, towel seems like they can use some updating.

The room was very quiet and fair size for 2. The bed was most comfortable. Sheets were clean and nicely done. But is not good for 2. When 2 persons sleep in it the room the bathroom needs to have a door to close so that one can have a shower in the morning without waking up the other. I would not have booked the room had I known of the situation. And I will not recommend it for a couple. Also the staff that was at the front desk for check-in was not very efficient and the check in took too long.

Great hotel and even a greater location. Staff was helpful in answering all our questions. We were given complementary city transportation pass during our stay and it made our experience in exploring the beautiful city even better. Only comment is for the limited privacy curtain for showers, which maybe bit inconvenient when staying with family. Overall, very happy with the stay and overall experience. Would definitely recommend.

Business style. Missing hospitality

The arte is a well located hotel, if you are coming into Munich on a train, good food options and car hire nearby, the hotel comfort level was OK the rooms are small open bathroom no door, there was a cleaning closet behind our bedhead, we had words with cleaning staff to stop slamming the door, there is a bed directly behind it , breakfast was good a lot to choose from ,the air-conditioning in the room was sub standard considering the rooms are one entire wall of windows, so if it is hot in Salzburg you need to keep the curtains closed, so no view, not ideal, it has a great roof top bar with lovely views, the staff were helpful.

Very nice and clean hotel with updated rooms. The check-in process was ridiculous. Younger staff were poorly trained - example: even after checking-in with their QR coded process, when I went to get my key the young person at the desk said they had no record of my reservation. I showed them my Expedia confirmation and she still denied I had a reservation. It took another person to get it fixed. Important: their QR code check-in asked for date of birth and place of birth. These should never be requested or given out by travelers as they are security questions with many financial accounts. Expedia should be aware of this.

A very good hotel- well located for bus and train station. Good breakfast. Amazing views from breakfast level and bar. All staff really friendly and helpful. Good room- sound proof: no noise from trains etc

The air conditioning did not work properly, making the room uncomfortable. The staff were also quite rude during our stay. At check-in, we were told that breakfast was included with our room. I specifically asked the front desk to double-check, and the staff member confirmed that it was included. The next morning, we went for breakfast, which was already quite disappointing due to the limited selection and overall quality. The staff member at the breakfast entrance did not mention any issue, so we assumed everything was fine. On the second morning, however, a different staff member informed us that breakfast was not included. We went down to reception to clarify the situation, and the staff there were extremely rude and unhelpful. It turned out that we were charged €50 for one day’s breakfast because of the misinformation provided at check-in. Paying €50 for a breakfast with very limited choices was highly overpriced and frustrating, especially since the confusion was caused by the hotel’s own staff. Overall, the poor service, lack of communication, and uncomfortable room made for a disappointing experience.
