WS Saint-Lazare - Opera

Not the room in the picture, very hot loud and noisy. Small fans, no staff on site, no replacements if you need anything. Everything is thru email. Was hung up on a few times.

Quick note— This review is for the Louvre location. Overall, the apartment served its purpose. However, an hour before we were supposed to check in, they sent me an email saying there was construction happening in the Saint-Lazare building, so we could switch to another WS location or just get a 10% refund. The next WS was in a great location close to the Louvre. However, there was food left in the fridge and it had no AC, which was unbearable in the June heat wave. Someone knocked on the door and entered the code early one morning, but luckily we had locked the door from the inside. After contacting the property, it ended up being the cleaning lady that tried to get in. They were pretty responsive when we had an issue. All in all, it was ok, and you can’t expect perfection from something this cheap.

Deceptif, sale, litterie de mauvaise qualité, pas de clim, si on ouvre la fenêtre c'est bruyant et mal odorant. Très loin de la description et des photos mensongères. Never again!

Très mauvaise expérience. A mon arrivée, l’entrée sentait l’urine ! Il n’y a aucune réception, ni aucun personnel pour accueillir ou renseigner les clients. Ce n'est pas prévu. Aucune consigne à bagages n’est prévue sur place. Il faut aller dans le bar d’à côté et payer 12 euros, ce qui n'est pas normal pour un lieu présenté comme un hôtel. Les escaliers étaient dans un état de saleté choquant. Le ménage ne semblait pas avoir été fait depuis des semaines, voire des mois, avec de la poussière et des moutons partout. Autre point inquiétant : la porte de la chambre ne se verrouillait pas à clef de l’intérieur. La taxe de séjour devait être payée dans une enveloppe, uniquement en liquide, sans facture. Aucun contrôle d’identité n’a été effectué à l’entrée. Cela fait très hôtel pour une facturation à l'heure... Pour moi, ce lieu ne correspond absolument pas aux standards minimaux d’un hôtel. Et la photo ne corresponds pas à la chambre. Je déconseille fortement.

I got confused at first but check in was extremely easy. So thankful we had a place to go back to after a long day (and a last minute booking!). Thank you!

Hôtel est très bien situé, proche des métros, en face de saint lazare et des grands magasins.

The rooms involved with my stay had black mold covering at least one wall of each room, to the extent members of our party had to find last minute accommodation elsewhere for their health. I reached out to the property but received no response when I informed them the extent of mold in the room and asked for solutions for our stay. I am highly unimpressed and disappointed. Thankfully we were only staying one night as it would’ve been unbearable for any longer than that. It is a health hazard.

Very close to train/metro station, grocery, food and the attractions Since it's a private apartment, you get the experience of checkin to small studio home which has small kitchen. You get to open the windows to see the streets below. Narrow and steep elevator No salt, sugar in kitchen Overall nice stay, definitely will come again
