Sheraton Gateway Hotel In Toronto International Airport

We stayed in a club room and I had upgraded to get the family suite so we would have more room and I paid an extra $70 plus tax, so $100 Canadian. I have to say I was disappointed. the room was a bit dirty, there were crumbs on the floor and there was absolutely no body wash or shampoo left in the dispensers in the shower. For that price point it was unacceptable. The club room was nice and I was impressed with the breakfast, especially the beautiful fresh blueberries, and strawberries that they served and the warm breakfast options. All in all after a very long international travel day, the room and beds were good, but I certainly hope that Sheraton will improve on the basics. In checking out, I made a point to speak with a front staff agent and explain how the room had no body wash or shampoo, and the room was not very clean. The front staff agent said he would reimburse me for the upgrade that I had paid for, but unfortunately, I have yet to see this refund.

Overall nice place and convenient

Was perfect for our travels. Walk to UP or terminal trains. Marriott Bonvoy member and access to the lounge was fabulous.

Exceptional hotel. If you want a stress free night before flying out of YYZ, this is the place to be. Quiet, clean and comfortable.

The room was comfortable, but the trains for the terminal transfers going past every few minutes made it difficult to sleep.

Only thing was room not serviced after I removed the privacy notice otherwise great

The room was clean, spacious and quiet. There were not enough towels for our group of 4 but the helpful staff brought those immediately. The only misshap we had was with breakfast. Our room rate had a breakfast buffet included, and the receptionist who checked us in mentioned it to be at the lounge. Unfortunately, in the morning we did not see any signage for the buffet and figured out that the lounge had to be the restaurant where a few people were eating breakfast at that time. We ended up being fully charged for the meal. When we addressed the issue at the reception desk, the first receptionist said we had no breakfast included but backed-off once shown the Expedia reservation. The second receptionist (coincidentally the one who checked us in) said she had told us where to go for breakfast. There was no time to have a longer conversation with the staff because we had leave for our flight. So advice for future guests: make sure you know where the lounge at this hotel is.
