Great central location,beautiful grounds,lots of shady trees. Cabins are practical & affordable and has all you need for a stay for the family.

The staff where absolutely amazing. The cabins are surprisingly quiet even being close to the airport.
My only negative was that once the office closed at 4pm there was no way of booking a cabin for that night. I rang at 5.30pm and was told no one was available to supply me with a key. Over my stay I sighted other travelers turning around after 4pm, I have to assume it was because there was no one available to book them in.

The room was clean and comfortable and large enough for my stay. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The staff were very helpful with every request or question.
My only criticism is that without a vehicle it is a little isolated but would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your hospitality. Whilst I didn't actually interact with any of the staff or use the pool. My stay was everything I needed. I arrived after the office had closed and the instructions on how to get my keys were easy to follow and I had no problems accessing my room. I checked out before the office had opened, but again the process to drop off the keys was easy.
The room was tidy. I enjoyed the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, soap for the shower. The parking was easy, finding my room was easy. The room provided all the facilities I could have asked for. I almost wished I returned instead of staying someone else in my stay whilst in the Darwin, but never mind. It was quiet and the bed was comfy.
What more could you ask for?

We stayed for three nights and we were very happy with our cabin. Very clean and spacious cabin. Location was perfect. Excellent value for the money. Highly recommended to others. We did not use the pool.

We have been back every year for the last four years and absolutley love staying at the Discovery Park in Winnielie. Its central to Darwin and Palmerston, the two bedroom superior cabins have everything we need for three travellers. Will be back next year.

Look for what it is everything was fine. The pools were nice but on the small side. The cabins were what we needed they were nice and cool.
We worked out that after staying here we’re more hotel people than caravan park people!!
