Room was a bit small and could do with updating but apart from that our stay was perfect

Located close to over ground and under ground station. Air conditioned rooms. Perfect for our trip. Staff were very helpful.

Lovely hotel and amazing staff, just our window wouldn’t stay open or the air conditioning didn’t really work and we had a heat wave so room was boiling!

No windows is an issue air feels stagnant

What a horrible hotel! Don’t let the initial looks of the reception area and the stairs to the first floor deceive you! I booked 2 rooms in January and asked for either interconnecting rooms or rooms close to each other, what i got were 2 rooms on 2 floors and opposite sides of the building. When i asked why the rooms weren’t close together they said they were full and had had lots of groups bookings. I tried to explain that i had asked back in January but they said they were full and couldn’t do anything. One of the rooms was tiny, cramped and dirty with parts of furniture falling apart and stains on the headboard, the other was a better size however you couldn’t open the window and the a/c didn’t seem to be working very well. Going between each of the rooms there were rubbish bags and hazards in hallways and staff eating their meals on the stairs. Overall it is a hotel that i would definitely not recommend. (I have photos to back my claims)

J’ai adoré mon sejour!

AVOID! -Rooms are unbearably hot! We stayed weekend 10 Jul 26 in room 202. The room was about 34deg and 90% humidity. We did not sleep at all. The air con was broken despite being advertised as "climate controlled air conditioning" The windows were sealed shut. We asked to change rooms and were told no, the hotel was fully booked. Outside temperature was significantly cooler than our room, it was un-bearable! The only thing offered after complaining during the night and the next morning was a free breakfast, and the hotel is simply not responding to refund requests. And to top it off (although this isn't really the reason for the negative review). Shower wasn't particularly clean and staff were asleep though the night when we went to complain.

Our room was on the interior of the building with no windows, and was small but for London I think was great. The lack of windows meant no noise from pubs or sirens and the air con was exceptional given the heat wave outside. The building was a bit of a maze but I really can’t fault the stay, everything was perfect.

The hotel was located close to Central and the transport links were very close by, making it easy to get around. It was quite dated inside and many things could be improved or fixed, such as the floor boards. It was clear that the properly has not really been maintained or updated in at least the last decade, properly not since the 2000s. Air conditioning was in the room but it did not work very well and the room was constantly warm and humid. The windows cannot be opened so expect the room to hot, often higher temperature than outside the property! Staff were mostly helpful and friendly. Also note the double bed is very small. It can fit two people but don’t expect much room. It is an okay hotel to stay in for one night but if staying any longer, I would look somewhere else and pay the extra for a room which effective air conditioning.

It was fine for a one night stay. It all seemed clean but I decided to give it a go over with anti bacterial wipes and glad I did as the tap in the bathroom was really dirty. 😵‍💫
