The Catalonia Porto was a very good spot for our two night stay. Breakfast was very good including a machine that freshly squeezed orange juice. Delicious! Staff was very helpful, organizing our rooms so that we were all on the same floor. I only have two complaints. One is that the water in the shower only had two basic temperaturesm: scalding and cold. I’m not sure what the deal was, but we couldn’t find a happy medium there. The other problem, and this problem was true in other hotels in Portugal, was being forced to hold down the button on the hairdryer to keep it turned on. Obviously not a gigantic problem, but annoying nonetheless.

The hotel is very nice and clean and I loved my bedroom and bed. I have slept so well there. The staff is very helpful and I used the spa for a facial and the treatment and amenities were nice. Overall, a great place for my Porto trip.

Our stay here was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.
The hotel is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Porto. The room was spotless, well-appointed, and provided a wonderful place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Every detail seemed thoughtfully considered.
What truly stood out was the outstanding service. The team was friendly, professional, and always ready with recommendations or assistance whenever needed. Their hospitality made our visit even more memorable.
If you’re visiting Porto and looking for a hotel that combines comfort, excellent service, and a fantastic location, I highly recommend this hotel. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return on our next visit to this beautiful city.
